AI Projects and Applications

AI seems to be an emerging sector in the blockchain industry, but whereas the Metaverse may require a lot of infrastructure, AI demonstrates some capabilities to survive on its own merit. In traditional tech sectors, artificial intelligence is growing in popularity at an unprecedented rate and is set to alter human life within this decade.

Contrary to non-blockchain companies, AI-centered blockchain projects currently suffer from two primary issues:

1) The lesser degree of attention received, primarily on account of these projects being associated with blockchain technology.

2) The lack of AI-centric projects that do not offer additional value to AI-based projects.

On the first matter, blockchain technology can appear to be lagging behind due to the inherent inefficiencies in some of the more popular blockchain networks, and, among other reasons, may be seen as unnecessary and/or redundant. Protocols such as Conscious Network can help alleviate some of the negative perceptions by providing performance that can meet the demanding traffic that is brought about by everyday, mass usage.

Furthermore, Conscious Network’s flexibility as an underlying infrastructure protocol can support a wider array of use cases that can invite further utility, and ultimately more legitimacy, to the blockchain industry. AI would, in turn, serve to amplify this process further as its very own use cases continue to expand irrespective of the progress made in the blockchain space.

On the second matter, while AI projects don’t find inherent limitations in other networks in the same manner that Metaverses do, they would inarguably benefit more from protocols that have built-in AI functionality and/or supplementary tools and features that would benefit AI applications regardless. In the case of Conscious Network, both are true.

Conscious has an AI protocol built in to improve the network itself, and simultaneously offers some of the resources that it itself uses, to third-party developers that wish to build AI-related applications upon the Conscious network. This makes Conscious Network a viable candidate for blockchain-based AI apps, and in the context of the current environment where few, if any, similar networks exist, would make it a likely candidate for most such projects.
