Other Potential Use Cases and Industries

As a PoS blockchain network with both Layer-1 and Layer-2 networks built-in, Conscious Network supports the typical use cases found across most other networks. This includes but isn’t limited to DeFi, NFTs, GameFi, logistics, DID, SBTs, dApps, decentralized storage, value transfer, and asset tokenization.

By offering features such as decentralized storage through its IPFS protocol, Conscious Network can offer improved functionality for features such as NFTs, where, unlike conventional approaches, the contents of the tokens wouldn’t be stored on centralized

servers, making them safer and more accessible. Decentralized storage can also pave the way for storage providers of varying sizes to utilize and monetize their idle hardware in a manner that is accessible to all.

Data monetization, primarily through Conscious Network’s random node (see below), is also a potential use case that can be implemented in a decentralized fashion. This can be utilized by individuals and projects alike, where the latter, if it were to obtain most or all of the rewards, could utilize it to develop itself without having to rely on the community’s direct support.

Better scalability through a native Layer-2 network means that all these various sectors benefit from faster speeds and cheaper transactions. Having its own L2 means that Conscious can offer these properties to users and developers without them having to rely on third-party secondary layers. While the latter isn’t necessarily problematic, it is arguably better to have both layers directly related to one another from an early stage, while still remaining open for other Layer-2s to join the ecosystem should the need arise in the future.
